What is FEBC?

The Far East Broadcasting Company (FEBC) is an international non-denominational Christian radio network (www.febc.org.au) . Its purpose is to communicate the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the world by radio. It was founded in 1945 and now broadcasts into most of Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Russia/Commonwealth of Independent States.

FEBC in Australia:

FEBC (Australia) has been operating since 1965. It acts as an autonomous support mission for Far East Broadcasting International, which consists of two parent organisations (in the UK and USA), along with their many national operational fields.

In Australia, FEBC's role is to:

* encourage prayer support for the worldwide work;
* seek out people with suitable skills to go as missionary workers, assisting the nationals of other countries;
* raise funds to assist with the supply and maintenance of all needed facilities for the broadcasts.

Mission statement and Faith:

We believe:

* the Bible to be inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God;
* that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons - Father, Son and Holy Spirit;
* in the deity of Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory;
* that for the salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential;
* in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life;
* in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: those that are saved to the resurrection of life and those that are lost to the resurrection of damnation;
* in the spiritual unity of believers in Christ.
