Description about this ministry.
This ministry is responsible for all things to do with the kitchen:
- thorough cleaning once a month
- cleaning out of fridge and defrosting of the two freezers in the building
- cleaning out of kitchen cupboards
- ensuring supplies of crockery/cutlery/tablecloths/long-life milk/serving ware are maintained and cared for
- also the key contact person for the various parties for any event involving kitchen, e.g. congregational lunches, WOW and Men's Breakfasts, wedding receptions, m/teas and suppers, CAMEO, linedancing m/teas and lunches (so as to ensure things can run smoothly)
- ensuring tablecloths and tea-towels are washed and returned in good condition
- organize helpers for church lunches and dinners.

When?
As you can see, there are many different tasks to be performed; so many volunteers are required to enable different rosters/lists of helpers to be drawn up. The frequency of your help would depend on what task you have volunteered for. For example, the cleaning out of kitchen, fridge/freezers would happen only once a month, however we hope that there will be enough people on that roster so that you have to do it only once a year. Helping in the kitchen for a big church dinner may be just a one-off occasion. Or you may be happy to say that you can be contacted whenever there is need for help in the kitchen.

Who will be on?
This depends on the task you have volunteered for. More details are available from the "incharge" person.
