NAME of WPCBC MINISTRY: CHRISTIAN EDUCATION (CE) also called SUNDAY SCHOOL

(A) Description about this ministry. The CE teachers and helpers volunteer their time to help children from Kindy to year 6 know more about God and His Word. The Bible teaches that both our family and our church work together to teach each child about the Biblical Faith; praying with and for them to know Jesus and follow Him all their days. CE teachers & helpers partner with families to help children know the Lord from an early age.

(B) When? The CE teachers and helpers volunteer their time to help children from Kindy to year 6 know more about God and His Word. CE teachers & helpers partner with families to help children know the Lord from an early age.

(C) Positions available and main functions.

Kindy & Pre-primary helpers: assist in activities like: listening to memory work, prepare & run craft activities and helping set-up & clean-up the Meeting Room.

Primary grade helpers: assist in activities like: listening to memory work, prepare & run craft activities and helping set-up & cleanup the upstairs classrooms.

Primary grade teachers: commit to at least one year of teaching a class; this can be done in a team approach to trade-off teaching each week. The Lessons are already written and cover the Bible's teaching in a systematic way over a six year period.

(D) How do i know when I am on?

Helpers can be rostered for a regular commitment Teachers agree to teach weekly with a yearly commitment. Team teaching situations can be arranged; however teachers' weekly presence is necessary to assure continuity of lesson material and relationships with the class.
