NAME of WPCBC MINISTRY: MAINTENANCE

(A) Description about this ministry..

Maintenance of the building and fixtures of the building.

(B) When?

Committee meets on the second Tuesday (7.45pm) of each month at the church.

They look into the maintenance book, and act upon the maintenance requests.

(When the online Maintenance ticketing system is functional, action the ticket requests)

(C) Who will be on? Not defined

(D) Positions available

Committee member  ( about 3 people)

Helpers (about 10 or more from different trades. See positions available)

(E) What do I have to do (main functions)?

Committee member:

1. Come for the Tuesday committee meeting
2. Look thru the maintenance tickets (in register or Online WPCBC Ticketing system) and assign them to either Helpers or to outside tradesmen.
3. identify Church maintenance that needs to be done. Set up datelines to get things fixed. Look into repairs for walls, floorings, tables, chairs, lights, bins, curtains, blinds, windows, air-conditioning units, carpets and carpet cleaning. Setup a list of reliable tradesman.
4. Set up instruction sheets for electrical equipment in the Church.
5. Identify unwanted junk lying around, arrange disposal and maintain storage areas for maximum usage.

Helper:

To complete the assigned job preferably in the stipulated time and close the ticket.

Provide a feedback to the concerned committee member when the job is completed.
