What Do Westminster Churches Believe? Summary of belief The Westminster Presbyterian Church looks only to the Bible for the truth about God, creation, and humankind. In general, we hold to these distinctive: 1. The centrality of God in all things, and the tremendous grace of God to sinners this is the message of the Bible, the Word of God. 2. The Bible contains no errors and is absolutely reliable. 3. God is completely sovereign over all of his creation. 4. Humankind is sinful at heart, and deserves only the anger of God, who is holy and just. 5. God has given his Son Jesus Christ to the world to save us from our sins. 6. Salvation from sins has been accomplished by Jesus' sacrifice on the cross.
